Sunnyhill Social Club 

Come and join us on a Saturday Evening 18:00 – 22:00 for our Social Night   We play Bingo, Have a mini Tote Club and a Raffle Draw plus we have our own Bar open at very competitive prices for a good selection of drinks  Families and Children are very welcome but ask that you please supervise any children attending.

Active Support 

To help adults with disabilities in the community, Sunnyhill Community Centre has a program running weekdays 8:30 – 15:00. This program features a variety of activities like Bowling, Swimming, Walking and much more. This is to support people to take part in these activities as a group helping one another along the way.


Aikido

Aikido poster mark 2

Held at Sunnyhill Community Centre is Aikido Classes. These classes are a type of Japanese self defence that is based around the way of the harmonious spirit. The classes are made up of certain moves like locks and holds against the attacker. Session are held on Thursdays at 18:30 – 20:30 and we welcome anyone who would like to show up. Saturday Community Hub.

This is every other Saturday 2pm – 4pm with lots of activities for youths to do including craft, sports, games and more. Contact: iicic2022@gmail.com

Apostolic Church of God (7th Day)

This church meet at our centre on a Saturday 10:30pm-3:30pm except for the first Saturday of the month.

Smile

This is a respite club for children with disabilities to enable their family to have time to do other things with brothers or sisters or just for themselves.  This club is run by Jubilee Church and is normally every first Saturday of the month though this can sometimes change so it is good just to check.  They meet 8:30am-12:30pm.

Talking Newspapers

This is a group who records items onto USB sticks from newspapers and magazines so that people that are unable to see properly or cannot hold a book can still get stories, articles and news.  They meet at the centre every Wednesday 9am-11am and are always looking for volunteers.

Taekwondo 

These session meet Tuesday and Friday 5:30pm – 7:30pm.  Wednesday 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
